SIYMCA Adult Fitness ClassWe offer a wide variety of Group Adult Fitness Classes. Participate at your own pace and continue throughout the year. These classes are FREE to members unless otherwise noted.

Body Sculpt

This class continually challenges participants while you work the entire body and tone your muscles in a fun environment.

Cardio Fusion

Keep your feet moving and your heart pumping.  A little bit of everything!  Class combines low and high impact aerobics.

Cycling

Are you looking for something new for your workout? This non impact workout caters to all ability levels by challenging beginners and advanced cyclists.  Ride to the music while your instructors guide you through hills, sprints & flats.

NOTE: Cycles are limited. Pick up a pass at the Member Service desk no sooner than 1/2 hour prior to class.  This will secure your spot.

HIIT

High-intensity interval training! This is an enhanced form of interval training, an exercise strategy alternating periods of short intense anaerobic exercise with less-intense recovery periods. HIIT is a form of cardiovascular exercise. These short, intense workouts will take your exercise program to a higher level. Recommended for intermediate to advance fitness levels, heart rate monitor recommended but not required.

Silver Sneakers®

Combine fun with fitness in these classes that are physician approved specifically for the Active Older Adult. These classes are lower impact and lower intensity yet provide a great work-out. These classes are also appropriate for people rehabilitating from an injury or those who are making lifestyle changes and need a lower impact and lower intensity workout to start out.

Zumba® Gold

Designed for the active, older adult, the true beginner, individuals who are not used to exercising, or people who may be limited physically. Modifications are made to accommodate any physical limitations. The main difference between Zumba® Gold and Zumba® Basic is that Zumba® Gold is done at a lower intensity, not as fast, but certainly as fun.
