Frank DeMers, Certified Personal Trainer
Frank has been a certified personal trainer and strength coach for more than 25 years. His fitness journey started in the military where he was a master fitness trainer. He left the US Army after serving our country for 10 years and became a certified personal trainer at Powerhouse Gym in Richmond, IN. Frank has also coached and competed in power lifting and mixed martial arts.
He has been with the Y since August, 2012.
Terri Roper, Certified Personal Trainer
Terri, husband Jerry, and their three children became Y members in 1998. In 1999, Terri started leading group fitness and has evolved her knowledge and experience through numerous class formats including Hi-Lo Aerobics, Step, Body Sculpt, Yoga, Pilates, and Silver Sneaker classes. Terri became interested in working one on one with individuals to address their unique fitness goals, so in 2014 she became certified through ACSM as a Personal Trainer. ”At any age, we are all working on improving something, whether it be gains in strength, endurance, balance and flexibility, or loss of weight or bad habits. It is very rewarding have the opportunity to target specific goals on an individual basis and celebrate benchmarks of progress along the way!”
