Welcome to our "TrY Your Y" Session Program Guide
What is “TrY your Y”?
- “TrY your Y” is a monthly program and pricing model that allows participants to try a different YMCA program each month, with lower, consistent pricing.
- Programs are divided into three segments across the year: TrY 1, TrY 2, and TrY 3, with each TrY segment lasting four months.
- You’ll have the option to participate in “Experience” or “Academy” classes depending on your interest and commitment level.
How does registration work?
- Registration opens for Y members 4 weeks before the start of each session and for potential members 2 weeks prior.
- You can register for one month at a time or all four months in a segment to secure your spot in popular classes.
How does program payment work?
- You can choose between two payment options:
- Pay in Full: Pay for the full monthly session or the full four-month segment upfront at registration.
- Monthly Draft: Enter payment information at registration, and payments will be drafted monthly, on the Monday before each month’s program begins.
What’s the difference between “Experience” and “Academy” classes?
- Experience Classes: Four-week sessions for ages 2 and up. You commit to a single month at a time, with classes meeting once per week to develop foundational skills. Curriculum may repeat monthly to reinforce learning.
- Academy Classes: Multi-month commitment for ages 6 and up. These classes feature progressive curricula that build toward a performance or showcase at the end, offering a deeper learning experience.
