Water Classes
Senior Splash
Activate your urge for variety! Splash offers fun, shallow-water movement to improve agility and flexibility while offering cardiovascular, strength and endurance conditioning. No swimming ability is required, and a kick board or other aquatic equipment is used to improve strength, balance and coordination.
Water Arthritis
A shallow water exercise class that has proven to help you live better and a more independent life with arthritis. Reduce pain and stiffness while increasing strength, flexibility, range of motion and balance.
Aqua Powerhouse
Try this high-intensity water fitness class and really challenge yourself. You will receive the same fitness workout you get on dry land without the joint pain and strain, and get better toned because of the natural resistance created by the water.
Noodlerobics
Noodlerobics is a medium intensity exercise classes that offers a full body workout. Utilizing the fun water toy, noodles, this class targets cardio, strength building and toning. Noodlerobics is taught from the shallow end of the pool, is a class for all ages and skill levels, and can easily be adapted to meet participants’ needs.
Senior Adult
Healthy Heart
Geared toward the cardiac rehab graduate, this class offers low-impact cardio and strength training using low weight dumbbells and body weight resistance exercises. In the mean time we will keep you in check periodically with your blood pressure, oxygen, and heart rate.
Parkinson’s Boot Camp
Designed for those with Parkinson’s, or any other neurological disorder that impacts movement. The class will focus on big movement patterns to include proper posture, trunk rotation, weight shifting, and transitions from the floor to standing.
SilverSneakers® Circuit
A higher intensity dance workout class that improves cardio endurance and burns calories. MOVE IT is all about breaking a sweat and having fun. The class focuses on cardio endurance by starting with simple dance moves then building into more complex sequences, bringing you a great cardio workout.
SilverSneakers® Yoga
Get ready to move through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered so you can perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement.
SilverSneakers® Classic
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscle strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a Silver Sneakers ball are offered for resistance.
Zumba® Gold
Designed for the active, older adult, the true beginner, individuals who are not used to exercising, or people who may be limited physically. Modifications are made to accommodate any physical limitations. The main difference between Zumba® Gold and Zumba® Basic is that Zumba® Gold is done at a lower intensity, not as fast, but certainly as fun.
Strength & Stretch
It’s slow pace stretches to strengthen the neck down to the toes. Mostly done on a chair and balance is worked on each week as well. A great class for those wanting to remain mobile and self-sufficient.
Strength Building
LESMILLS® BODYPUMP
This addictive, music themed workout challenges all of your major muscle groups, using a lightweight barbell. Exercises include squats, presses, lifts and curls. The key to LESMILLS® Bodypump is THE REP EFFECT, a breakthrough in fitness training focusing on high repetition movements with low weight loads.
Functional Fitness
Functional Fitness uses constantly varied movements performed at high intensity. These movements reflect aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more. Typical classes will include strength and metabolic conditioning component. Performance will be tracked so improvements can be measured.
Endurance
HIIT
High-intensity interval training! This is an enhanced form of interval training, an exercise strategy alternating periods of short intense anaerobic exercise with less-intense recovery periods. HIIT is a form of cardiovascular exercise. These short, intense workouts will take your exercise program to a higher level. Recommended for intermediate to advance fitness levels, heart rate monitor recommended but not required.
TURBO KICK®
Let’s get the party started! With cardio kickboxing and dance moves choreographed to the hottest music mixes, you’ll be measuring your fun in sweat! It’s high intensity, fast-paced, and totally addicting!
Cycling
Are you looking for something new for your workout? This non impact workout caters to all ability levels by challenging beginners and advanced cyclists. Ride to the music while your instructors guide you through hills, sprints & flats.
Zumba® Toning
Combines targeted body-sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work with Latin-infused Zumba® moves to create a calorie-torching, strength-training dance fitness party.
Zumba®
Combines upbeat music with unique dance moves that are fun and easy to do. Ditch the workout, and join the party!
Zumba® Circuit
The challenge of adding resistance by using light weights, helps you focus on specific muscle groups, so you (and your muscles) stay engaged.
Flexibility/ Meditation
Vinyasa Yoga
A mind/body exercise focusing on improving your flexibility and strength while enhancing your posture, coordination and mental focus. These classes are a great way to relieve stress and feel great!
Yoga/Pilates
Strengthen the core of your body, lengthen muscles and relieve stress. Excellent way to increase muscular endurance, improve flexibility & tone muscles.
PiYo
Unleash your power with Pilates+Yoga+nonstop movement! You’ll sweat, stretch, and strengthen- all in one workout.
Yoga
A mind/body exercise focusing on improving your flexibility and strength while enhancing your posture, coordination and mental focus. These classes are a great way to relieve stress and feel great!
Gentle Yoga
This is a gentle class that combines yoga postures and breathing. This class is geared toward students who wish to move at a slower pace. No Yoga experience is required. Gentle Yoga provides an easy way to wake the body up and stretch yourself out.
Core Blast
Core blast is an intense core-training workout designed to tighten and tone your midsection in the shortest amount of time possible. The class utilizes your body weight, free weights, and resistance tubing to challenge your balance, coordination and improve your functional strength.
